The fishing sits in a quiet corner of the western Brecon Beacons, at the foot of the Black Mountain near Ammanford. The water is regularly stocked and there is room to spread out, so you are not fishing shoulder to shoulder with anyone.
Day tickets run all day. Catch and release is fly only. If you would rather take something home for the barbecue, catch and kill tickets cover one, two or three fish.
It is a back to basics sort of place. The facilities are simple and the phone signal comes and goes, and most people find that is exactly the point.
